All purchases must be settled for before leaving an in person auction.

If buying online, nothing will be released until full payment is received.  You must pay in the allotted time.

Not responsible in case of accidents on premises. 
Iowa sales tax applies to qualifying purchases made.

INTERNET BUYERS: Items MUST be picked up during designated times or you forfeit your items.  Online bidders, if you do not pick up during the allotted time, the card used to register with will be charged on invoices below $1,500.00. BUYERS PREMIUM; There will be a 10% buyer's Premium, capped at $300.00 per item on all purchases made online.  All Sales final. 
Please do all investigating on the lots that you are interested in before placing your bids.  After you place a bid and the system accepts that bid, it cannot be retracted.  All of the items that are sold at the auction companies facility are available for preview before the auction.
Auction company makes no guarantee on the authenticity of any items being sold.  We will represent any defects that we are made aware of or that we notice during cataloging. Please use the opportunity to preview items or call the office if you have specific questions.  If you need to ask a question please call 2 days prior to the closing of the auction.  319-435-2302.
If you are the successful bidder on any item(s) you will receive an invoice in the email that you used to register with.  On this invoice, the pickup location and the pickup times are stated.  The pickup times are also stated before the bidding begins.  If you are unable to meet these guidelines, please do not place bids. There will be no refunds and can lead to a permanent decline from bidding with this company. 

All buyers herby certify that they have read, and fully understand the terms and conditions listed, and they agree to be bound thereby. It is the buyer's responsibility to understand all the terms and conditions prior to submitting any/all bids. 
Max bidding: When you bid your max, the current bid price does not automatically go to your max bid. Someone else has to bid to increase the current price and the computer will automatically bid up to your max in the increments specified. If 2 people bid the same max bid on the same item, the 1st person to place the bid will be the winning bidder.  

PAYMENT: No items will be released until payments are made in full. Acceptable forms of payment are as followed: Cash, Check, ACH -in US only, Wire transfer (with a $10.00 fee plus your bank fees), or Credit Card (with additional 4% fee). No invoices exceeding $1,500.00 can be paid for with a credit card. Checks must clear the bank before items will be released. Payment MUST be received by determined date stated in terms.

Information on items is obtained by us from the sellers and you hereby agree to hold harmless Hoge Auctioneering LLC & its staff for any errors or omissions regarding the items being sold. 
By bidding on an item you have agreed to accept that item in its present condition and its present location with the description provided, whether accurate or not. 
When using online auction services, you are making firm commitment to purchase items into a legal binding contract. Bids may not be cancelled or retracted for any reason. Nonpaying bidders or fraudulent bidding will subject you to legal recourse. Hoge Auctioneering will accept or refuse any bids for not complying with the terms and conditions.  Online bidders note:  Auction company will not be held responsible for bids that do not go through. The best way to insure your bid is accepted is to enter your max bid before the auction.  Internet connections are not always guaranteed, auction company accepts no responsibility for any internet issues before, during, or after the auction.

Bidding-If you are bidding on a "reserve" lot and it says that you are "Current High Bidder" but also says, "reserve not met", you will not have the winning bid when the lot closes.  You can place more bids on the same lot until it says "reserve has been met", then you will be the winning bidder.  This is the only instance where the system will allow you to raise your own bid.  You can always raise your "max bid" on an unreserved lot, but it will require someone else to bid, before the current bid will be raised.
